Ingredients

  • 1 large navel orange, zested and juiced
  • 2 tablespoons of Vines & Groves’ traditional barrel-aged Balsamic Vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 1/2 cup Vines & Groves Orange or Lemon Olive Oil
  • Crisp cooked bacon pieces
  • Feta cheese, crumbled
  • Chopped pecans
  • Sliced Vidalia onions
  • Fresh strawberries, sliced

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Orange Balsamic Vinaigrette:

    • Follow the instructions provided in the previous recipe to prepare the Orange Balsamic Vinaigrette. Set aside.
  2. Assemble the Salad:

    • In a large salad bowl, combine the crisp cooked bacon pieces, crumbled Feta cheese, chopped pecans, sliced Vidalia onions, and sliced fresh strawberries.
  3. Toss with Vinaigrette:

    • Drizzle the prepared Orange Balsamic Vinaigrette over the salad ingredients.
    • Toss the salad gently to coat everything evenly with the vinaigrette.
